Residential premises also become a workplace once a contractor is engaged to carry out work — meaning the same obligations apply during renovation, demolition or maintenance projects.

An asbestos management plan sets out how identified asbestos materials will be managed, monitored and maintained over time — including responsibilities, review schedules, control measures and communication procedures.
